Driveway Sealing

Important things to remember when your driveway is sealed

  • Please make sure all cars, basketball hoops, hoses, plants, etc. are off the driveway, if possible the night before
  • When parking in the street, please leave the end of your driveway and sides open for my truck and trailers so we have room to work.
  • Keep all pets away. Please notify your neighbors if necessary.
  • No watering for at least 12 hours before and 24 hours after sealing. If you have a neighbor, please have them shut off any zone that could spray on your driveway.(Yes this did happen)
  • Please don't drive on a newly sealed driveway for a minimum of 24 hours, preferably 48 hours.
  • If possible make gradual turns to avoid scuffing new sealer.
  • New sealer can take up to 3 to 4 weeks to totally cure.
  • It's ok to walk on a driveway that has been sealed and doesn't look glossy, possible within 2 or 3 hours with sunlight and a light wind.
  • Don't get any fertilizer on your driveway before we come or after we seal until it has cured. It will leave spots.
  • Don't use any cleaners, bleach, detergents or soaps on your driveway until it has cured for 4 weeks. This includes washing your car, motorcycle, etc. or anything else.
